Play Effects in 3D
Pick an effect and play it in 3D. Change the speed and background, and turn the layers that make up the effect off and on one at a time to inspect it.
Basic use
- Click the box at the top right to pick an effect. Effects are listed by their English names, so type part of the English name to narrow the list.
- Drag the 3D view to rotate it, drag with the right mouse button to move the view, and use the wheel to zoom.
- Use the buttons at the top to pause or to replay from the beginning. Camera returns the view to its starting position.
- Open Effect Settings with the three-line button (Settings) to change Simulation Speed, Particle Density, Background Color, and more.
Good to know
- Turn off a Layers switch at the bottom of Effect Settings to hide only that layer. Use it to see what pieces an effect is made of.
- Turn on Skip Idle Time to skip quickly past moments when nothing is on screen.
- The effect you picked and your Effect Settings are saved in this browser. The page starts the same way the next time you open it.
- If you cancel the window saying graphics acceleration is unavailable, the 3D view turns off. Press Turn on 3D to be asked again.
